It was funny. I laughed the whole way through. I just didn't want to cry about it there. I really like having long hair though and it was finally getting long after I chopped it with Tru.
Here it is from all angles...
I didn't know that there was a little tail in the back!!! A girl at the cancer center was complimenting me on my haircut and she said, "I want my hair just like that! I really love the tail in the back." WHAT!!!! Ya, didn't realize that, that's how closely I've looked at it... Time for Trent to do a little snipping tonight!
At first I really hated it. I kept telling myself that I wasn't getting a short haircut because I wanted a short haircut, but because I was doing something good with it. I didn't look in the mirror much on Saturday, and I was in a rotten mood. Then Sunday rolled around and I washed it, and played with it, and I'm getting more comfortable with it now. That seems to be the cycle that I'm in right now. My initial reaction to everything is really hard, it takes a day to get used to whatever is new, and then I'm fine and have some fun with it.
So there you have it. Short hair for a few weeks. Trent really likes it (so he says) and he says that he wouldn't mind if I kept it short like this once it starts growing back in... we'll see.

I love it! It's very chic! I remember when we were younger and I thought you were the most daring girl in the world for going short and I always envied how cute you looked (since I was forbidden to get more than a trim for a very long time). You look great. There's something very sassy and fun about short hair!
