Twenty five...

I can honestly day that I never thought this day would come... it just seemed so far in the distant future...

But it's here, it's really here. What happened?? I feel like I'm still 18... or do I? Up until now I felt like I was still 18 but suddenly, maybe not? But really? I'm officially...

in my mid twenties.......................................

TWENTY FIVE!!! That's getting up there people! I can no longer say that I am in my early twenties, which feels so nice to say. Not a teen... yet not old. Ya, I'm getting into the old category... or maybe I have a few more years till I am in the old category??? I can now rent a car by myself... the next age related thing I have to look forward to is when I turn 55 and can get the senior discount at Ross...

Twenty four was really good to me...

- I became a mother.

- I conquered my fear of driving stick shifts when we bought one, and I was forced to learn, and not ruin the new car.

- Became a "homeowner" even though I own nothing...

- I lost 67 lbs, which I feel is a big accomplishment.

- I successfully made dinner for my husband almost every single night, which was something new to me.

- I got a clearer picture of who "Meg" really is, or wants to be, or is becoming...

Yes, twenty four was good. But today I will wave it good bye and open my arms to whatever twenty five has to offer...

If you are reading this (yes I'm talking to YOU), as the birthday girl for the day I ask for you to send some good twenty five vibes my way. Leave a comment with something amazing, wonderful, empowering, lovely that happened in your life when you were twenty five. Or, if you are not yet LUCKY enough to be twenty five, what is something that you hope to happen, accomplish, do, become when you are twenty five...

My mom said that she thinks that twenty five is the perfect age... I guess we will find out.

Happy Birthday, Meg!!! I've been 25 for five months and so far the best thing that has happened to me has been going back to school. Love ya! I'm glad you were able to accomplish so much in your 24th year.

Happy Birthday Meg! Welcome to the twenty-five year old club! I just joined about a month ago, but I am loving it so far! In this club you get a renewed sense of self! It comes with the realization that you are not a teen anymore, and satisfacion in the fact that you would never want to be one again! In this club you get to, not only see how far you have come, but look forward to all that you know you are still capable of! Life is good in this club!

Happy Birthday! I can't believe I'll be 27 in March! *sigh* seriously, where have the years gone? Anyways, a great thing that happened to me when I was 25? That was a huge turning point for me. That year I realized what it meant to be a grown-up. I learned what it meant to be a good wife. I reconnected with my Father in Heaven and my husband. 25 was a hard year, but the most growth ever was achieved in my life that year.

Happy Happy Birthday Meggie dear! (Did I just call you Meggie?) I hope you have a great day, and that 25 is an awesome year for you! I'm still 24, but my goals for when I'm 25 are to have a baby! That's about all. I should really be more ambitious.

25... Oh, I hope to accomplish alot by then. Maybe Chris will be in his last year of med school? Maybe. Maybe we will own our own home/condo/townhouse/something? Maybe. Maybe I can have a couple more kidos? Maybe. I guess we shall see.

I hope all your 25-year-old dreams come true!!

Happy Birthday Meg! 25 will be a great year...if you make it one! I will be twenty six in October, so I have been 25 for almost a year. (I didn't realize you were so much younger than me.)I think like you I am understanding myself better each year, and becoming more and more the person I want to be! The biggest thing that happened for me this year was becoming a business owner! Russ and I started our own financial planning company.

Happy Birthday Beautiful!!
The year I was 25 was amazing. I decided several 'adult' things that year. 1)I decided I needed to start dating guys who I would want to marry. 2)I needed to start wearing clothes that were modest. 3)I started to make plans to live in London for two years after I was finished with the work I was doing. 4)I met Dale. 5)I changed my London plan. 6)I realized that there was someone more important than myself and that he loved me.
25 was awesome! and 26, and 27, and 28.... Enjoy!! Life only gets better with age.

What blows me away is that it's been 25 years ago since I left the "Knot's Landing" season opener to go to the hospital to have you before I gave birth to you on the livingroom floor.

You are a delight and I am grateful to have been your Mom all this time.

Happy Birthday!

This year being 25, I have finally decided to pick myself up and brush off all the rubish that life has dealt me and get on with it! I got my Master's Degree, moved into my own downtown apartment and finally let my heart love again.

Happy birthday Meg!

but....I'm loving it. I'm finding who I am. What I like. what I want. I've always known my little family is what is most important to me....but this year I FEEL it. It feels wonderful!
