Basically I finished Friday night off by eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's all by myself (yes... all 680 calories of it without blinking an eye) and taking two benadryl to try and knock myself out for the night...
Scans are hard to read. They basically cut you in circles from your head on down and so it's pretty impossible for my untrained eye to see what's going on.
However....
They did include a little print out of the "findings" which I read. Again, some of it I understood and some of it I did not and will need to have a doctor explain to me. The stuff about the cancer I understood and it was pretty much what I was expecting. There were some other things that they "found" in my scan that are not good... but I don't really know exactly what's going on until I talk to the pro's... so don't ask ;) Thanks!
The cancer doc is on vacation... that's why it's taking me so long to get in. I guess that people who spend their lives trying to save other people's should be able to go on vacation every once in a while right? So still waiting, trying to keep myself distracted so that I don't go crazy... I almost wish that I wouldn't have even looked at them so that I would be so stressed right now with more "unknowns"...

I'm glad you ate a whole thing of ice cream. Ice cream seems to make things not seem so bad while you're downing it. That's too bad your doctor is on vacation for so long, but hopefully he'll have some good news mixed in with the not so good news when he gets back. You're in my prayers, Meg. I love you!
