My friend Kristi sent me this picture today and it's so funny! Let me give you a little background...
Back when we were living in Hawaii we were going to go see a movie with our friends one night. On the way there our friend Sean said that one of his friends was getting married that day and he told him that he would come to the reception towards the end to help tear down tables and chairs. So we totally crashed Kristi and Paul's wedding! We didn't know them at all, but came along with our other friends to help them take down the decor. It was truly awkward. A few people came up and asked us how we knew the bride and groom and we said... "We don't!" Oh how embarrassing! Kristi and Paul even came up to us at one point and we introduced ourselves to them as the wedding crashers... oh boy!!
As fate would have it, they became members of our married student ward and we were able to get to know them and they are great friends of ours now. So ya, I'm embarrassed that someone captured our awkward first meeting! Geez... thanks for the picture Kristi! And for still being our friends after we crashed your wedding (the food was terrific by the way...)

That is hilarious because we did the EXACT same thing! We were at their wedding also because we went along with Jordan and Rachele, even though we didnt know them at all yet. I felt awkward too. :)
