I decided to keep my mouth shut. I normally would have gotten mad, said that he is too young to eat a whole ice cream cone and he doesn't like cold ice cream anyway. Plus... I didn't want to clean up the HUGE mess he would make...
I'm glad that I kept my mouth shut this time...
Tru LOVED it! He just held it and would poke his finger into the coldness and just laugh! It was really cute. Trent ended up eating the ice cream on the top and giving the cone back to Tru, he ate all of it. It was fun to watch him experience his first ice cream cone. 
Yes he was a total mess (I had Trent carry him inside and we put him right in the tub). Yes, his carseat is covered in sticky dried up ice cream (haven't cleaned it yet). But sometimes it's nice to just throw caution to the wind and have a little fun...

Yeah for Meg being a brave mom!! Ice-cream cones are the BEST!! He was going to get one sooner or later from Trent, we all know it :)

You're about 6 months ahead of us. Remember our tradition of taking each of you on your 18 month b-day to get a cone. A lot of messy fun!
