Feeling Festive...

We are feeling a little more festive around here lately. It's amazing how a box of gourds from Costco with our three little pumpkins {that we didn't carve for Halloween} can really bring out the holiday spirit.

The temperature has finally dropped to the 60's making it cool enough to bundle up in jackets and blankets. I'm finally having my poor child wear shoes... he hasn't really worn shoes yet. So we are getting used to that one for sure.

I'm loving this vase here... (thanks Kristi for the inspiration). I bought this vase a long time ago to use as a fish tank, but I got tired of taking care of the fish (meaning I forgot to feed them... frequently) so the vase has been reborn as my new holiday vase. It housed the branches for Halloween, the gourds for Thanksgiving... I'm already thinking about what I can put in here for Christmas and Valentine's Day. I'm pretending that it's big enough to hide the monstrosity of a water tank we have in the kitchen... WHO AM I FOOLING!!! Nobody! Oh well, I love it anyway.
