You are growing up so fast!! I was just looking at your newborn pictures and I can hardly believe that you were that little (okay, you were still pretty big for a newborn). This has been a good month. Your little cute personality is really starting to show.
For starters, we have learned that you are a sensitive little guy. You wear your heart on your sleeve. When you are happy you are so happy!!! But when you are sad you stick out that little lip and cry the saddest little cry I’ve ever heard. Last night we were playing games with Sean and Chelsie and they started laughing at you. Sure enough the little lip came out and you started the saddest cry….. so young to be so sensitive.

You started laughing this month. You like to laugh when people cough and sneeze. I guess you like it when people are sick or something. You also laugh at me when I’m doing my hair, something about spraying hairspray makes you laugh. You like having your cheeks kissed and will laugh when we kiss you.
You started eating rice cereal a few weeks ago. You are still trying to figure out what the heck this stuff is, but you love it! You kick your little feet as soon as you see the bowl of cereal.
You haven’t figured out how to roll over yet, and still get very frustrated during tummy time. You are so close, and you get the closest while on the changing table, so I have to watch you very closely. You are getting so much better at using your hands and like to hold onto my hair like a handle while I’m holding you and lean out as far as you can. You also love sucking on those fingers and have come very close to sticking your whole fist in your mouth. This part has been nice for mom, I spend far less time trying to find your pacifier because you seem to be pretty content just sucking on your fist. Fine by me…
Nap time…. this one has been bitter sweet. Bitter in that I look forward to the day that you will actually take a nap for longer than an hour, but sweet because I love putting you down for a nap. You start to get super cranky and so I wrap you up in your soft monkey blanket and stick the binkie in your mouth. Then I hold you and you give me a little smile and close your eyes, and I stick you in bed. It’s like your saying, “Mom, thanks for putting me down for a nap.” I’m so glad that we have figured out a system that works for us.

Well sweet baby boy, I’m completely in love with being your mom! Thanks for being such a cute kid!
Love,
Mom
