Meet the fam...

Like I mentioned in my tag post we drove up to Salt Lake over the weekend to get a car. I was really nervous about making the trip with the baby, but it worked out really well. Tru got to meet a lot of his cousins and aunts and uncles, grandparents, so it was a fun little trip. It was also nice for me to watch my sister in law who has 3 kids help me figure out how to work with Tru when he is fussy to try and figure out what it is he needs. She just has so much patience.
Here is a picture of Tru with his Uncle Nate, my brother. I had to reassure Tru that Nate still loved him even though he made fun of his name. When Nate heard that we were naming him Tru he said, "What kind of a name is that???" He's the perfect example of why we didn't tell a lot of people that we were naming him Tru, I didn't care for peoples opinions.

I love this picture. We had a minute to run by my friend Ashley's house to show off Tru. Her sweet little girl shares a birthday with Tru and it was adorable to watch her look at his toes and his fingers.

The hardest part of the trip was that Tru loves to sleep in his carseat and falls asleep easily while riding in the car, so he slept the whole way there and was up all that night. Same thing with driving home, so I'm a little tired now, and I'm trying to keep him awake today so that hopefully we get this switched around!!!
