Trent's dad and step mom came down for my second treatment. They watched Tru while I had the treatment and then Karen completely took over for me for a few days so that I could just lay in bed and be miserable!!! Seriously, she did everything. She made meals, cleaned, bought things that I didn't have that probably should have had (like Saran wrap and a potato peeler). She took care of Tru and had a purse full of goodies to win him over. Trent and his dad went on a few bike rides to get out of the house that I think they both liked. It really was such a blessing to have them here. Thank you so much!!!
Then my cousin April came down after my third treatment. I'm bummed that I didn't get a picture with April!! We had such a good time. She is such a sweetheart and helped me out with grocery shopping, taking care of Tru, not going insane because I'm so stir crazy and bored!!! And we may have snuck out at a totally odd hour of the night on a weeknight to go and watch a certain movie about vampires... maybe... maybe not though... It was a lot of fun to hang out with April again, it's been a long long time and I really had a great time catching up with her. Thanks for coming down April!!!
Then for Thanksgiving our friends Paul and Michelle took a little trip down here to have Thanksgiving with us. They brought Christmas with them too, seriously! Paul's mom Ann spoiled us rotten with the "activity box" that she sent down for Tru. He is in love with all the elephant toys and stuff she sent. I'm glad that they came down, even though it was just for a couple days. I forgot how funny Paul is and it was nice to laugh all weekend!
We had no experience in real turkey cooking... we pretty much just went off of the instructions on the box for the turkey bag and it turned out fantastic!!! It was so good!
And cute Michelle is going to birth my future daughter in law in a little bit here (no... she really is!) We ate like kings... for example...
My beautiful lemon meringue pie that I made. I didn't get a picture of it until after Tru dipped his fingers into the meringue...
Just keeping it real here folks...
The drinks were pomegranate and grapefruit with sprite.... so yummy! And yes I made those rolls... they were yummy. I broke out the china for the occasion... it was a lot of fun. Thanks for coming down you guys!

Looks like you have been having a good time, inspite of everything. That is very important. Merry Christmas (in advance)!
