I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I wont be cured until I've had clean scans for five years... but we are headed in the right direction.
As I drove away from the cancer center today I felt so light... I haven't had a good cry yet but I'm sure that will come. I just realized how much stress I have been under all year. Extreme stress... since January. Today that stress was lifted... it is such a good feeling.
So... not quite sure how to go about saying this... but would you like to see my insides?
I think that the pictures speak for themselves...
The kidney's and bladder light up from the dose because that is how the radioactive stuff is filtered out of your body... but it's pretty clear that the scan is clean!!!
I hope that the rest of the treatments fly by so that I can have my life back. Thank you all for how supportive you have been to me this year... I really appreciate it. I'm grateful for today...
