Three tests down... one to go. I also did the pulmonary test this week and today was the cardiac test so we are getting there. Next week I have the pet/ct scan and part of the instructions were "no prolonged hugging or holding for the remainder of the day". So... looks like Tru will be hanging out somewhere else for the day! How do you do such tests with a two year old {almost} running around? I don't think that a day has gone by in his little life where I haven't held him, hugged him, had him sit on my lap when I read him books, cuddled him, rocked him, smothered him with kisses... I'm going to miss it! Even for just 12 hours.
I meet with my doc again on Monday, Oct. 19th to go over all of the test results and to set up my chemo schedule. I feel like a turtle trying to get to the starting line of the race... let alone run the race! I feel like things are going slowly but I'm glad that I have a thorough doctor who wants to make sure they know exactly what's going on before they start treating me.

I'll take really good care of him. I promise.
I never knew there was a restriction on hugging/holding after a pet/ct scan! When I had a ct scan I was starring at the red light for a while wondering what it was for until I read the sign above it that said "Warning: do not look at red light"...it was a little late after that. All those test sound like a pain but I'm glad as well that your doctor is careful. Good luck with your scan.
