Last week I spent the week at my sisters house taking care of her two kids while they were out of town. Such cute little blondies! Tru could fit right in as the little brother if you ask me. I tried to do something fun with them everyday while I was playing "mom". Thanks to my mom, who went around with me for most of the week so that I didn't have to wrangle them all myself. Here are some things that we did.
- We went to Liberty Park with my mom and some of my aunts/uncles and their kids. It was fun to see them all again. I tell you what, it's a lot more work to keep track of three kids at the park than it is to keep track of one! Thankfully I had my mom, sister, and brother there to help me out.
- I was brave and took them all to IKEA by myself!!! I was nervous, but they did really well. Tuesday morning at IKEA, not too busy! So that was good.
- We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house with my family. Ky thought it was a castle, which was cute. She liked all the chandeliers. It's a very beautiful temple.
- We met some friends at Wheeler Farm and had a picnic outside and looked at all the animals. Tru didn't quiet get that he was suppose to throw the bread at the geese, instead he just ate it. The kids all really liked the farm.
- We went to the Treehouse Children's Museum in Ogden. If you live in Utah and you haven't been there with your kids you need to go!!! There were so many things to do! We had to pull them all out of there when it was time to leave. Tru loved the bridge, and would walk over the bridge and then run around to the other side and do it again, and again, and again! It's $5 for kids and $4 for adults and there is a coupon in the Happenings book for a free admission. Go, I'm telling you!!!
I sure love those kids, it was a good week! Thanks Amy and Scott for entrusting your babies with me and letting me come stay with them! Hopefully I still hold the spot as the favorite aunt...

I am sure that having a girl of your own will help. ;D I didn't even know most of those places were in the area. I'll have to suggest them next time we are there. Way to keep active. Your a great mom!
It's times like these that memories are made of. Thanks for making some with me.
3 kids!? You are SOOOO brave!
Thank you so much for coming to stay with them. We appreciate it more than you know! I know the kids had so much fun and that made it easier for me to be away from them. I love the pic of the kids at the farm. Tru and Anthony look like they could be brothers in that pic! Thanks again!
