Making plans...

Well, the surgery went well. I'm tired... I've had a splitting headache since I "woke up" from the anesthesia on Friday and it hasn't gone away since. I kind of thought that having this outpatient procedure done would be small beans compared to what my poor body has been through in the past six months... but I'm feeling like I've been run over by a truck...

Breath....

I'm a little mad at myself... I knew that something wasn't right about 3 1/2 weeks after I had Clayton. I'll spare you all the details, I'm sure you can figure them out. But I didn't want to deal with it, so I put off calling my doctor until I got pretty freaked out. I'm really counting my blessings right now... that it wasn't worse than it was, that I didn't have a horrible infection or something like that. That dumb placenta.... oh well. It's over. Lesson I learned... trust your instincts!!!

So... I might not be around the blogging world for the next little while. After living through a very hard six months (most of them spent sitting on my couch or laying on my bed).... I'm going to go out and have some fun. We have been making plans over the past few weeks to go out and do some really fun things and I'm really excited about it. Hopefully I'll have lots of great pictures, fun stories, and some good memories to throw into 2009... that's the plan.
I'm starting to feel like the sunlight is coming out from behind the clouds... that's a good feeling to have...

So... what fun things are you planning on doing for the rest of the summer?

I'm glad the surgery went alright. I just hope your headache goes away. That's awful.

Have fun this summer! We're going to do lots of hiking over the next few weeks! I'm excited. I haven't gotten to do a lot of hiking since Brighton - every summer since then, I've lived in places where there weren't mountains, or I was pregnant, or had a newborn. I'm excited to hit the trails again!

I'm glad things went well and that you feel like the sun is starting to come out. Yes, go out and enjoy nature. Have fun with Trent and Tru. Make happy memories. It is amazing what a good walk, hike, or other form of outing can do to lift one's spirits.

Ahhh, that's what you had surgery for. Your Facebook status makes sense now.

We are planning camping. Me and T.Ray LOVE the outdoors, so that's my hope for this year. That might be kind of hot for a little boy though. I think you guys should go boating or camping at Lake Powell :) That could be lots of fun!

Sorry to hear about the headache, but I'm sure glad everything else went well. Surgeries are never fun.
Anyway, I look forward to reading all your stories and seeing your cute pictures of the summer!
As for us, we are planning trips to Bryce Canyon, and Wyoming. Gotta love the outdoors! :)

I am glad to hear that you are going to do something fun...enjoy. You'll be missed in the blogging world but we'll enjoy the photos and posts to come. I agree on the trust your instincts thing - why do we question ourselves or push the thoughts to the back of our mind?!?! Will we ever learn?
