399...

So my friends, here's the deal... this is my 399th post. That is a whole lot of blogging!
For my 400th post two things will happen...

1- I have a small announcement of sorts to make.
2- I'm going to do my first ever blog giveaway!!!

Wondering what this is all about? I'll give you a little clue...

Yes, I know that I probably should not have carved my initials into this tree. Scarred it for life! It was Memorial weekend in 2002 when this happened. Trent invited me up to his grandparents cabin for the weekend, and pretty much his whole extended family would be there. I was pretty nervous about it. I still was not completely sure on how I felt about him. We were getting pretty serious, so I decided that this weekend it was all or nothing. After spending three whole entire days with him I was going to know if he was really the one for me or not.
We had the time of our lives! It was the best weekend. We went fishing, four wheeling, hiking, shot clay pigeons... it was great! I really fell in love with Trent this weekend and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him (I suddenly feel like I'm on the Bachelorette or something...) Anyway... at the end of the weekend we hiked back behind the cabin and carved our initials into the tree. I wish so badly that I had a picture of this tree. The cabin has since been sold and I doubt that I will ever see this tree again... but it's out there somewhere.
Anyway, there is my clue...

I was going to say bought a cabin, too! But if you did, I hope it's in Utah so that you're closer to ME!! I miss my friend!

My next guess was that you were going to be making an addition to your family...????

I have great memories of the cabin, too! Mike and Launa still have property up there so they could get you in the main gate if you ever want to go up there and try to find your tree. :)
