It was one of those weekends that doesn't happen very often... or ever! A baby born and a wedding, getting all 11 children, spouses, kids, in the same place at the same time!
First... little sweet Amelia didn't want to miss out on any of the fun. So she finally decided to be born just three days before the wedding! Such a little angel baby!
Then we got to witness the union of this happy couple... Justin and Sarah.
We've been waiting for a long time for Justin to meet his sweetheart. Justin is 32 and Sarah is 29 (I'm sure they don't care for me to put their ages on here, but it's part of the story!) It was so powerful and touching to hear the story of how these two met and fell in love. How their paths crossed and ultimately led them to each other. I'm a believer in that... whatever it is. Inspiration, spiritual promptings, moving a crossed the country because you just have a feeling. Anyway, it was really amazing to be a part of all this today. I'm sure it is a wedding that I will never forget. A big lesson that I think we all learned today is that it's worth it to be patient and wait for the love of your life!
It was also the first time in 2 1/2 years that the whole entire family has been together. It's partially our fault, being in a different state and all... but that just makes the reunions that much more important!
Can you spot the comedian of the family??? Check out the brides dress...
This was a little impromptu photo shoot here. On the other stair case was the bride and her family taking pictures. So we are missing the bride and a few kids who are at the top of the stairs, but we have everyone else! We were all tired of standing and took a seat on the stairs. Yes, there are a lot of us immediate family members!!!
I really love this family... Sarah is one lucky girl! I'm so grateful to be able to be a part of them and them a part of me.
