Today was a very foggy and rainy day...
Pretty fitting for the occasion.
Oh Matthew... you will be so missed! We love you!
Tonight I laid in bed with my little 10 year old brother and we talked about suicide. It's hard to talk about suicide to anyone, let alone your 10 year old brother. I forget how observant and receptive kids are... and smart! I love my brother. That's really a big reason why I came... we haven't had a death like this in our family before and I knew it would be a hard thing for my younger siblings. It's hard for everyone. I'm glad that I could be there to lay in bed, on the Jazz blanket, staring at the Jazz posters on the wall, and talking to my little brother. I wish that I had more answers for him... I wish that I had more answers for me, for his family. I think that we will all wish this for a long time... but I'm grateful to know that he is with our loving Heavenly Father who does have all the answers... and loves us perfectly.

I'm so sorry to hear of the death of your cousin. Suicide is such a hard thing to deal with. I had a cousin commit suicide in 2005 and I know there are so many questions about why they did it and what to do now. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad you could be there for your family.
I'm really sorry about your cousin Meg. I'll be praying and thinking of you, as well as for your family.
So sad, Meg. Suicide is so traumatic, and difficult to understand. I'm sorry for you and your family.
What a blessing that we have the gospel at this traumatic time for your family. The knowledge that all questions can be answered and that you can see him again might be a huge comfort to your brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc...
We love you much!
We love you Meg and are so proud that in a time where selfish acts are committed you act with so much unselfishness. I am sure your family is truly grateful that you came home in a time like this. We pray your Aunt, Uncle and their family will find comfort knowing that he is with his Heavenly Father who does love him unconditionally and who judges with love and mercy.
