Since we had so many visitors in town this weekend I wanted to do a little party for Tru today. We had a lot of fun, it was simple but perfect for my little one year old.
We went to a park.... had pizza and cupcakes...
I made this monkey cake for the boy...
We sang to him....
He loved it and made a huge mess...

It was a lot of fun. I'm so exhausted right now I can't even tell you!!! We've been going non stop being "tourists" around town here. If my cakes and cupcakes look fantastic it's because Nicole saved the day!!!! My sister in law is amazing and she did all of the cupcakes just the way I wanted them and say by my side and "coached me" through frosting the cake. I'm happy with them, I think that they turned out pretty cute. Tru got spoiled... I'm excited to play with all his little toys with him and read him his new books. Thanks everyone who came and sent him presents. We love you guys!

I LOVE IT ALL! And look how much your hair has already grown! I only hope that when I have a baby and he/she turns one years old, that he/she will actually dive into the cake and get dirty! Both of my neices on T's side refused to touch the cake! Sad :(
