Tru's Blurb Book...

I've been working feverishly on Tru's book about his first year of life. I'm so excited about this book!!! It's so cute, and it's so fun to have all of these memories stored in one place, with pictures, letters, and funny things... I'm loving it!

It starts with a letter that I wrote to Tru when I was pregnant with him, talking about the things that were going on in life when he was born, things that we did together while I was pregnant with him (like run an 8.5 mile race and jump of some big rocks into a pond in Kauai). It also says how we found out that he was coming into our family and how we couldn't wait for him to get here.

I looked into making the book with Shutterfly, but in the end I went with Blurb because it downloaded my blog straight to the book. I just deleted all the posts that weren't about Tru and it was a breeze!! I've already done all the writing on my blog, I just needed to organize it, so it was super easy. Here are a few pages that I've done so far...

Anyway, I'm really excited to get this done. I'm going to finish it off with his first birthday and get it printed and ready by Christmas. Isn't this what every one year old wants for Christmas?? Just kidding... his wife might like it someday!

JaiCi, go to www.blurb.com. Download the program on your computer and then pick blog book and it will go through the steps to download your blog. And your blog would be perfect for this!!!

Mom- I can order one for you. I'll bring my comp. up when we come next time so that you can see it. Also, I need to use your scanner so that I can get Tru's ultrasound pictures in here.

I love making books like this. I have made 5 books but I have never used my blog. That is a great idea.
