Today when I was sweeping up cheerios, raisins, and gold fish crackers for the millionth time I had this thought... I hate it when Tru eats food off the floor. Whenever I sweep it's like a mad dash to eat as much food off the floor as he can before I sweep it up. He doesn't want it when he's sitting in his high chair...
So I thought, maybe I should get a little bowl and put it on the floor with some crackers in it so that he can reach them and he's not eating off the dirty floor...
Then I remembered that's what we do for dogs...
I didn't put a dog dish out for Tru... but I'm pretty tempted...

soooo funny. good idea, but i get your point! just think, some people though do that and treat their dogs as good as their kids!

Navi J loves to eat things off the floor STILL!! Sometimes I am convinced that they stash their favorite foods on the floor thinking they will save them until later. Here's a thought...we put a TOWEL down on the floor and let Navi J eat off the towel...

i think as long as you have his name etched in the dish, it's completely ok. right? that way it's not confused as Spot's dish or Rover's dish ... that makes it totally human.
