11 Months...

Dear Tru,

You are now 11 months old. It kills me to think that in just a month we will be celebrating your first birthday!!! I still feel like you are my little baby but you are getting bigger and bigger everyday and less like a tiny baby. You have the funnest personality and your dad and I love hanging out with you. We are a good threesome. Sometimes (okay most of the time) I feel like I'm the third wheel with you and dad playing and laughing all the time. I love watching your friendship with your father bloom. Thank you for being such a happy, smiling, cheerful little boy. Here are some things that are going on in your life right now...

- Your hair is getting long. You have these long wispy hairs that hang over your ears and I've tried to cut them but you move around so much I'm afraid I'm going to cut your ear...

- You love getting into everything. There is nothing that scares you or that you don't want to try to get into. I try to let you get into whatever so that you can experience it, except the toilet, that's where I draw the line.

- You love blankets. You like to throw them on the ground and lay on them. It's cute to watch you laugh and cuddle with your blankets.

- You still suck a binky and I'm not planning on taking this away any time soon...

- You hate wearing shoes... they don't last for long on your feet.

- You think that toes are funny and like to come up and bite my toes... I think this is really gross and usually don't realize that's what you're doing until I've been bit, so I'm working on that one.

- You love eating yogurt, the natural tart kind. This is your favorite food...

- Next to peaches!!! You love to eat peaches and we can give you a whole peach and you will eat it all up.

- You love helping mom with the dishes and like climbing up on the wracks.

- You are starting to walk around with your little walker toy, but that's the closest you have come to showing any interest in walking. Crawling is just fine with you.

- You love new things. We went to the park for the first time the other day and you loved playing in the water and crawling up the slide.

- You like going on walks at night with mom and dad. Like I said, we make a good little threesome.

I'm sure there is much more, but that's all I can think of right now. I can't even tell you how important you are to me. I'm so lucky to be your mom and to play with you everyday. We love you so much Tru!
