Weekend...

It was one of the best weekends in the history of weekends!!! Probably the only time that I have been on a trip home where I wasn't extremely stressed. It's stressful for me to go home because I am a people pleaser. I feel bad when I can't make everyone happy, forget how I feel... I'm working on it. My little post before we left helped because I came back not feeling guilty for all those people that I didn't get to see because I was able to see everyone who called me!! It was great! And I didn't even take a single picture!! (That's a lie, I did take two but they are both just of Tru so it doesn't really count... right?)

Here are some highlights of the weekend...
- Were able to see Trent's sisters new house on the way up there.
- Trent got to go fishing all day Saturday (and I wasn't stuck by a lake trying to keep Tru from falling in.)
- I got to go to IKEA Saturday!!! Thanks Mom for going with me and being so patient while I took forever to pick out curtains, lamps, pictures, picture frames..... etc.
- We got to spend time with some close friends.
- Went to my parents ward on Sunday and I got to see some old friends that I haven't seen in years... that was nice.
- Had birthday parties, going away parties with family. My mom made Trent a yummy funtastic party cake.
- Tru had a ball playing with all the toys everyone had... made me realize that we really don't have any toys for the boy...
- Spent time with Grandma L. Trent was able to play handy man for her.
- Tru got to meet Aunt Kimberlee and Uncle Kai for the first time!!!! Sorry guys, we should have gotten together sooner. Thanks for meeting for lunch! So good to catch up!!! Tru loved Kimberlee and cried as we drove away...
- Ate the best steak of my life. My b/i/law John is a pro...
- Ate lunch at my FAVORITE place! Baker of Normandy, if you haven't been there you need to go!!! Macaroon covered in dark chocolate... need I say more?


I'm sure I'm missing somethings, but it was really great. The only thing that was really missing was that my sister and her family were out of town so we didn't get to see them. She did give me a box of clothes for Tru though!!! Thanks so much Amy!

*** Oh my gosh, I new I was forgetting something!!! My sister Erinn and Josh weren't there either. However Erinn, I must admit that hanging out around love sick newly weds is not my favorite thing to do ;). You've been exiled to Logan for at least six months... teasing!!!
