So much for not wanting beige...

We finally finished paining the living room area on Thursday night so I wanted to post some pictures of it. It's a clean slate, as you can probably tell. We don't have a lot of accessories to make it too exciting right now. I'm so excited about how the paint colors turned out. After thinking it over for a few days we decided that we really liked the darker color and we picked out a light beige to go on the rest of the walls. I'm loving it, it's just the right amount of contrast and looks so clean and modern to me.

Trent put these pictures up on the mantel so that it looked a little more homey - however they are not going to stay there. We are planning on putting tile up on the fireplace so for now it just has a coat of primer on it.

I don't think that I'm going to stay with the red and orange accents. That is just what I used when we were first married so that's what I have around. I'm not sure what I want to use yet...

We bought this table off of Craig's List for such a great price!! I wasn't sure if I liked the metal bars on the back but I actually really like them now. This table looks great with the grey wall behind it, it really brings out the red.

Anyway, those are just some pictures for now of our newly painted living area.
