Well, I did it. I pulled out my running shoes today and went on a run.... after a nice long 3 month break. It felt good to move my legs and feet again!! I don't know why I tell myself that I'm too busy to exercise. I'm really good at coming up with excuses why I shouldn't exercise, when I really know that I love doing it and it makes me feel good. I've noticed that it takes preparation and thought to actually consistently exercise. If I don't have the alarm set, the clothes laying out, the ipod charged, with the exact routine that I'm going to do in my head, then it doesn't get done. If I tell myself, "oh I'll just do it later today....", it never happens.I've decided that I need to be better to this body I've been given. It's been good to me so I need to be good to it and take care of it the way that I should.
So... I'm back. It feels really good to be back...

Yay for the fun run!
hooray for running!! i've been off for the summer as well, and went for the first time this week. it felt so good I cried. and then I tripped, so I laughed.
