Resfreshed...

Well, I did it. I pulled out my running shoes today and went on a run.... after a nice long 3 month break. It felt good to move my legs and feet again!! I don't know why I tell myself that I'm too busy to exercise. I'm really good at coming up with excuses why I shouldn't exercise, when I really know that I love doing it and it makes me feel good. I've noticed that it takes preparation and thought to actually consistently exercise. If I don't have the alarm set, the clothes laying out, the ipod charged, with the exact routine that I'm going to do in my head, then it doesn't get done. If I tell myself, "oh I'll just do it later today....", it never happens.

I've decided that I need to be better to this body I've been given. It's been good to me so I need to be good to it and take care of it the way that I should.

So... I'm back. It feels really good to be back...

hooray for running!! i've been off for the summer as well, and went for the first time this week. it felt so good I cried. and then I tripped, so I laughed.
