I finished Tru's high chair a little while ago. I've been putting a pillow in the back of it because there is so much space, the tray doesn't slide back as far as I would like it too. So I guess I'm not officially finished, because I need to make a pad to so back there. But here it is, I like it a lot better white than brown and frilly.

doth my eyes deceive me? did you sand off the "decor" on the chair back? i like it without the frillies, mind you, i just know that would be some killer sanding!

No, we filled it in with wood filler. Then we sanded it and it didn't turn out as smooth as I would have liked, but it looks good enough!
Looks good! I just refinished a piece of furniture--what a pain in the butt! I hope you had as much fun as I did. :) I'll have to post some pictures on my blog.
