This look says it all...

I think that this look about says it all….

We are going on day 7 of pretty much no sleep…. SEVEN DAYS!!! I took him to the doctor on Saturday and he said, “Well, his ears look a little red, and there is water behind his ear drum, but I don’t want you to fill this prescription unless he gets a fever.” So nothing. Still no fever, and still no sleep. He is pretty good during the day, pretty happy, laughing, smiling. But come night time and the tears start rolling out.

I realize that this is one of the JOYS of being a mom with a baby, you pretty much have NO CLUE what is going on. We’ve tried sleeping with a pillow under the mattress, heater, humidifier, bath right before bed, saline drops, Tylenol, night light, etc, etc. I’m just really tired, and I’m hoping that either I get a revelation as to what I can do to help this little guy, or get used to no sleep. Maybe my revelation needs to be my eyes not seeing the number clearly on the thermometer (being sleep deprived and all) and thinking that he has a fever and just getting the prescription. I don’t know….. I don’t think that it’s teeth because there is no sign of a tooth and Trent and I were both very late teethers.

Anyway, thanks for letting me share the pain. Happier posts are in the future, I promise.
