It's tradition in Trent's family to have a big fondu dinner on Christmas Eve. I was so not up to doing it this year, but with my family in town and some of Trent's family in town we made it happen on the 29th.
It really was a lot of fun. All the food was awesome! The biggest problem was that Tru didn't understand why he couldn't be up on the table with the fondu pots.... so we took turns keeping him entertained and out of the way.
We kept it pretty basic... chicken, turkey, steak, mushrooms, shrimp, and of course king crab legs! Not that we put those in the fondu pot, but they are always good. Trent's sister Kim brought a chocolate fondu that was wonderful. I made my coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate and candy cane... super yummy!
And for some reason Tru has decided that whenever he smiles for pictures he needs to have one eye closed... hilarious!
Here's our little family, end of 2009. It was so nice to spend the end of the year with our friends and family that we love so much. Thanks you guys!
