I'm back...

So... guess where I've been???

We just got back late last night from a great trip to Washington D.C. It was not your average DC adventure... we didn't do any DC sight seeing that you would normally do going there for a trip. The main agenda for our trip was...

1- To spend time with Trent's brother Justin and his cute wife Sarah who live in Alexandria.

2- To eat some good blue crab.

Since we were able to do both of those things I think that our trip was quiet the success. Trent and Justin lived in Pennsylvania for a while when they were little kids so this was a sort of "walk down memory lane" trip for them. We spent some time in Pennsylvania driving by their old house, going to a beautiful garden that their mom used to take them to. It was a really great trip and so nice to hang out with Justin and Sarah.

Pictures are to come... someday!!! I actually left my camera on the hood of the car when we were leaving Sarah's parent's house in Pennsylvania. Thankfully someone found it and looked through the pictures and I had taken one of Sarah's dad holding Tru showing him the flowers, and they recognized him and got it back to them. I'm counting my lucky stars!!! But still sad that I only have pictures of two of the four days we were out there.... sheesh!
And... I will never go on a long plane ride again with an almost two year old... what a nightmare! Glad that's over. It's made me seriously rethink where I want Trent to go get his masters program done at, because that was a joke!

Yeah, I'll bet the plane ride was insane! That's a LONG trip! I'm an adult and struggled flying from Florida to Utah! You are an amazing woman! You are very lucky your camera was returned! Can't wait to see the pics when the camera is returned to you! Plus I hope your camera is ok!

How awesome your camera found you! And I'm sorry that your flight was not fun, we learned our flying cross country lesson when Olivia was 6 months old, ohhh that was an awful flight.

Paris, So I have had the WRONG blog for you (only your craft one). I have checked it several times, because I LOVE your ideas. I just found this one on Tink's tonight and have read through much of what you have written since Clayton's birth. I had NO idea! Thank you for sharing your stories, you are a strength and a light! I am teary eyed right now and wanted to let you know that you are in my prayers!

Love ya, your roomie, Peaches
