No he is not taking a self portrait... he just wanted the camera, or no picture... hence the face.This little boy of mine is a little on the clumsy side. Mix that with being a climber and we have this little marked up face!!! Let me explain his current face to you...
- The scrapes on his forehead are from biffing it on the asphalt and breaking his fall with his forehead... happened on Sunday.
- The huge bruise that is now in it's yellowing stage is from head diving off of the kitchen table. He landed on the same spot that he had scrapped himself the day before... Monday.
- Little line scar on this cheek by his mouth... cut himself on our coffee table not even 24 hours after we got it. We no longer have the table, a bit too dangerous... happened a few months ago but the scar still stays.
- Chipped tooth... front tooth is now chipped slightly. Just noticed it while we were grocery shopping. Had to have happened in the last day or so because I think (hope) that I would have noticed it sooner. With the number of falls this kid has a day I'm not too surprised, but a little sad.
What's he going to look like by the time he's 2!!!!!

Sounds like a typical 1-2 year old to me. In fact, when we cut Navi J's hair this weekend...he has bruises and scars on his head...and we just figured - whatever.
those are GREAT bruises on Tru...I am very impressed!!

Just wait til he's playing sports and you're watching him get hurt...I am a little nervous about that with 3 boys! I love you Balance post. I really need to work on that too. Thanks for posting it!
