Ashley...

I'm not sure if we are laughing because we were hoping the camera wouldn't fall off the car...

or maybe we were just excited that we had just bought the world's best eggnog...

Oh how I love this girl. She makes me laugh like no one else can that's for sure. I first met Ashley when we were in 10th grade. We had a few classes together I think... or maybe it was just American History. A group of us girls decided to hang out one weekend and go to a corn maze. When we got to Ashley's house to pick her up she came out wearing a black shirt with a leopard collar. I knew instantly that we would be friends for life!

That was 10 years ago... and I'm happy to say that this girl is still my best friend. Life has changed from what it was 10 years ago when we were a couple of boy crazy, mall hopping, class skipping kids. I read a quote not too long ago that made me think of Ashley...

"One of the greatest discoveries true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart."

We are different in many many ways, but I think that we have always tried to support each other in the paths our lives have taken us. We've grown separately but we have not grown apart. I'm so grateful for her in my life. I am so LUCKY and blessed to have Ashley as such a dear friend.

Since today is my bff's BIRTHDAY, I wanted to let her know how glad I am that she took that first breath of life on this day and that I think that she is an amazing woman, mother, friend, and person. I love you Ashley!
