I'm so happy to be done with this project! This is by far the biggest one we've tackled yet with this condo. We decided the day after Christmas to just do it! Man, what a pain!!! It took every spare second of the last 8 days of my life to do this, but it looks so much better, it was worth it!
The cabinets were struggling to begin with. The frame was made out of old pine, and it had oak doors put on it. So they were two different shades of wood and that bothered me. Plus our floor is a red wood, so there were three different shades of wood going on in there. That's two too many if you ask me. So we decided to paint them white.
Before...
After...
I like having Tru in the background of my project pictures if you haven't noticed... he's a good little helper and such a patient kid while I do this stuff...
We picked a creamy white (Chef White from Valspar) instead of a bright white paint. We also got some thick metal handles to go on everything. I love how clean and crisp it looks! It really brightens up the whole place. The inspiration for the cupboards came from this picture...

I think that I got it off of Apartment Therapy but I'm not sure... sorry. I know that the focus of this picture is suppose to be the chalkboard and shelves... but I couldn't take my eyes of off the nice white kitchen in the background. I love that grey back splash too... maybe a future project!

You did a great job! I can't believe you did it in 8 days. I don't think I would have taken less than two weeks.

Beautiful! You have some major design skills!
