Love Note...

I would like to take this opportunity (do you feel like your back in testimony meeting or what?) to do a little shout out/love note to my new friend Mindy...

I actually met Mindy through Trent, who met her husband through work. He invited them over for pizza night one Friday night a few months ago. That was back when we were trying to find a house to buy. Mindy was nice, but I didn't know her very well...

When we were looking for a house to buy I prayed, quiet a few times, that wherever we moved I would be around some girls that would hang out with me, be my friend, I really needed that, because that didn't exactly happen where we were living before... Things fell through with our house, and we found the condo. Turns out, this condo is just down the street from Mindy, and we are now in the same ward.

I honestly believe that Mindy is the answer to my prayers (awwww). She has been loving and accepting of me since day one. She welcomed me with open arms and treats me like she has known me for years. She has invited me to hang out with her friends, invited us to her little girls birthday party, and gave me moral support at JoAnn's when I had a tough fabric choice to make (did I mention that she sews???). The list doesn't end there, it just begins there... and I've lived here what, two months?

Anyway, I really am so grateful for Mindy, you have no idea. Thank you Mindy for being my friend and making me feel so welcome. I think that everyone needs a Mindy in their lives...
