Speaking of big round bellies...

Meg at 35 weeks pregnant with Tru...

This is what I looked like a year ago from now. That's just huge, there is no other way around it!! Please ignore my dirty mirror and junk on the counter, I was beyond the point of cleaning then. And please ignore my face... which is half cut off for a good reason. You just don't feel the best when you are that large...

I think that the human body is an amazing thing. To be able to stretch that far and to have your body almost totally restore itself back to normal. It will never be "normal" I'm sure. But a year ago when I was taking that picture I couldn't even imagine things getting close to normal again. I'm glad that I have been surprised, and amazed.

Sorry, I don't have a recent up to date picture of my "after" stomach. And I have no desire to set my camera on the self timer and take one... I'm just grateful today that I no longer feel like that.

I'm noticing a trend in your last 2 posts. Hmm... :)
It really is amazing that our bodies can bounce back (somewhat) after pregnancy. I think I'm gonna go search for my old prego pics now. Fun stuff.

I was going to say the smae thing Ashley commented on- something to share Meg???

Your tummy really was out there! Wow! Was tru breech or face down at that point?

Don't worry about your tummy not going back to 'normal' I STILL look pregnant!

Sorry, I'm not preggo girls. I've just been thinking a lot about where I was a year ago from now, since my little guy is going to be one soon.

All of my married sister in laws are preggo though... I missed the boat this time.

Ouch! That picture just makes me hurt for you. It's nice to be pregnant but it's nicer not to be pregnant. (And grandkids are the best - kids to love with all your heart but you didn't have to get them here personally.)

Love
Mom

It really is so crazy that your belly can get so big and then it go back to (almost) normal. The body is capable of amazing things.
