One hot topic of conversation has been rugs. Trent grew up in a family that always had big area rugs in the main rooms of the house. Big ole' rugs. We didn't have rugs in our house, just carpet. So Trent has been talking about getting a rug for a while and whenever we look at rugs we never agree. Trent would like something like this...

See the problem? So I've been drooling over this room that I saw in a West Elm catalog. It has all my favorite things right now, gray, orange, plants, modern touches. Love it. Love the rug...
So here is the sad thing. This rug was on super sale a few weeks ago, but I decided not to buy it until we were moved into our new place. Well, it's not longer available.... I knew this would happen! So sad! So now I'm on the hunt for a rug for our living room. Does anyone know of a good place to find a rug???

I liked that rug also! I LOVE the Python Rug that West Elm has on sale right now. I've been wanting to get it really bad. Its definitely hard to agree with spouses on decorating!

Target is a good place. Also look at ikea. They have lots of stuff. I have a feeling you would LOVE that store, it's just your style. And I'm going to have to agree the previous comment...that's an old lady rug. I like the same style as you.

Excellent taste in rugs Meg! Trent on the other hand...not so much. I think that is kind of a guy thing to not know what is modern and stylish. Trent definitley needs to listen to your advice on this matter:)
Hahaha I love the commnets- poor Trent but I have to agree his are not-so-age appropriate. I love the grey one! Gorgeous! Ikea has some neat ones...
