I hope that you readers out there don't get annoyed with my constant posts about little Tru. If you do, then you don't have to read right?? Anyway, there is a method to my madness and a reason why I put all of Tru's info on this blog. I'm planning on making a book for him when he turns one with all the stories and pictures. Check out blurb... love this site!! You can make a book about anything!!

I've already started putting it all together. Since his birthday is October he will be getting this for Christmas. Truth be told.... I am not a scrapbooker. I will never be a scrapbooker. I admire all of you out there who spend your time cutting out little ribbons and bits of paper, gluing them all together. Stenciling little hearts and flowers. Really, that takes talent... and patience, and color coordination, none of which I am really great at. It is so not for me. As crafty as I profess to be, scrapbooking holds no appeal to me. Making a nice book with pictures and words, that's more my style.

Good idea, I'm going to look into that!
I actually tried making a 2007 blog book through blurb and found that it wasn't as user friendly as other photo book sites. Yes, it is awesome that it "slurps" your blog text and photos, but I had issues with the layout options. I just didn't like the look. I put the book on hold and tried making one through Shutterfly. It was a lot of work to copy and paste my blog text and to upload the photos, but I am much happier with my book. I have the book just about ready and will be ordering it soon. I hope you have better luck with blurb than I did.
Thanks Star, I hadn't heard of shutterfly. I'll have to check them out, thanks for the tip. I wasn't super fond of the layout, but it's okay. I'll check them out though.
