Happy Half Birthday Baby!!! You are six months old today! I can't believe that half a year has gone by already! I'm excited for the next six months to watch you grow and learn. Here are a few things that are going on in your life right now...
- You sit up pretty well, you still topple to the side most of the time. You just like to kick your legs so much that it's hard to stay sitting up when you're kicking around!
- You are eating solid foods about 2-3 times a day. You love bananas and peaches, well, pretty much any food we let you have you love.
- You take three naps a day. Nap time is still pretty unpredictable. You range from sleeping for about 45 minutes to 2 1/2 hours depending on what you decide to do. You also go to bed around 7:00 PM every night and wake up between 6:30 - 7:30 AM (again a little unpredictable) with one night waking. The doctor says that you don't need to be waking up at all in the night to eat, so looks like the ignoring mom is going to have to come out again. I feel like we've made really good progress though considering three weeks ago you were waking up about 6 times a night.
- You love to sleep on your side now or on your tummy with your knees up and your little bum in the air. So cute!!!
Here are a few things that seem to amaze you...- Anything that your dad does
- Looking at the light coming in through the window dance on your hands
- The air bubbles floating to the top of the water cooler- Wind blowing through the trees
- Anything that you can get your little chubby fingers on
- Mom's hair (you love running your fingers through it)
- Your toes...
Here are your stats for the month:
Weight - 19 lbs 8 oz - 80th percentile
Height - 27 inches - 75th percentile
Head Circumference - 46 1/2 cm - 97th percentile
So ya, you still are a big kid! We are having so much fun with you. One of the funnest times is when you wake up in the morning and we bring you into bed and you lay there and look from mom to dad and just smile and kick! I'm glad that you know you are loved! You love bath time and kicking those legs in the water, but most importantly sucking on your rubber duckie!
We sure love you little guy! Thanks for being the best part of my day!

Happy 1/2 Birthday!! Great job getting more sleep at night, my babies never slept through the night until they stopped nursing but that could be because I couldnt handle them crying. Tru is just adorable!
That's awesome he is still taking so many naps!
I just compared our little boy's stats! I love seeing how big Tru is compared to Navi J at the same age...Tru's got NJ by about 5oz, but NJ has him by about an inch at 6 months!
I can't wait to get them together and let them play when they get bigger.
What a cutie! Congrats on getting him to sleep better. More sleep makes for happy moms and happy babies.
