Trent the hair dresser...

So guess what we did this fine Saturday….

I let my husband weave my hair. Yes, I said weave, where you have to use the foil and the long tail comb. It was intense, but very fun. I decided to do something about this dark blonde hair and so we went ahead and did it!! (And no, my husband doesn’t strike that pose often, just for special occasions like this…) Let me recreate the moment for you all…

- I ran to Sally Beauty supply and bought a $7.49 bleach kit.
- We found our favorite Hawaiian radio station online - KCCN FM100 that plays the same 4 Hawaiian songs over and over again (or at least it seems like that) brought back happy memories.
- Pulled out our old Hawaiian shirts from the swap meet in case we spilled or dripped bleach on our clothes.
- Waited until little Tru decided to take a nice long nap.
- Cut the foil, just regular old aluminum foil from Walmart, nothing fancy here.
- Tried to figure out how the heck to do this, it was awkward. Partly because I’m right handed and Trent’s left handed so it was hands and bleach everywhere for a while till we sort of figured it out.

And the results….. not bad!! Trent, your hired!!!
