Blessing...

Today our little one was blessed. Last night we stayed up way too late and I didn't get to put Tru down until after midnight, so I thought that today he would be such a grouch. But he wasn't! He was a little angel child. He was so smiley and happy, it was so nice! At the last minute we decided to bless him in Utah while we were up here with family. It was nice to have both of my families around to share in this happy day. I love this little guy so much, he is cuter and cuter everyday. Ever since his all day crying episodes have pretty much gone away, he is just such a calm little guy.

Trent really wanted to give him this "certain blessing" real bad. I told him that I would kill him if he did though, but I thought that I would share it with all of you. He wanted to bless him with: the strength of a bear that has the strength of three bears, the speed of a puma, the wisdom of a man, and with an animal magnetism that the sisters would not be able to resist. Thankfully, he did not do that. It was very nice.

For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about, in our church we give babies a name and a blessing when they are born. The name is so that their name will be on the records of our church, and the blessing is just a blessing. We make our kids wear white outfits (well, it doesn't have to be white) and us moms just hope and pray that they don't blow out before the blessing is over. Tru's outfit is one that my mom made (THANK YOU MOM!!! She whipped this thing together in just two days) and it's made out of the same material that my wedding dress is made out of (she made that too). He looked adorable.
