We spotted a deer when we were driving on the back roads. Tru got so excited we let him out of the car to go and chase it...
It ran off before Tru could get anywhere near it of course... he was a little bummed.
It really was completely gorgeous! The trees were so vibrant! I miss having fall where we live.
I had a little photo shoot with my boy. He did a really great job. I just love the aspens in the background, with the sun breaking through...
We ended our drive with a little walk to the lake where we sat and watched the fishermen, and butterflies, and let Tru throw rocks into the water.
This may be one of my favorite pictures of Tru ever. I have no clue what he is looking at but it must have been something pretty interesting!
I love my boys! I love it when we can go on a fun drive like this and appreciate nature and all the beauty that is out there in the world.
