First, during church his nursery leader came and found me because he needed a diaper change. Trent had his bag so I went to find Trent to get his bag. Like a good father should, he offered to take Tru and do the deed for me. However, Tru did not want Trent to hold him. He only wanted me. This NEVER happens!!! Usually if Trent is around Tru doesn't want much to do with me. So even though it was to change a dirty diaper, it made me happy that my little boy wanted ME!!!
At the end of church I was given a sweet little paper that he had made with his little chubby hand print on it. I guess I never pictured myself being a proud mom with her paint hand hanging on the fridge, but there it hangs. What I love even more is that every time I show it to Tru he looks at his hand and turns it around, probably wondering where the blue paint went. He really is a sweetheart. I love being a mom to this little guy.
We had a Mother's Day dinner at my friend Mindy's house. It was really nice! Especially since the three mother's involved live far away from our own mom's which is probably what we would be doing if we lived closer, spending time with them. It was a great dinner, thanks Mindy! I'm thankful for my own mom, and become more appreciative for all she has done for me and my siblings everyday. Thanks mom!
Being a mom is the hardest job I've ever had. Never before have I had a job that required me to be so tired, uncomfortable, emotionally involved, yet had given me so much satisfaction and love. Thanks for making me a mom Tru!

Haha... ok it spooked me a little. But only a little. It just confirmed that maybe my own paranoia is justified and we could all use a little more security on the internet, right?! I had been thinking about going private for a while, and your comment just made me decide to go for it! :)
