Getting Ready...

Last night we went and did a little Christmas shopping. Much needed, now instead of feeling like I am not going to be prepared for Christmas I feel like things are all coming together and everything will work out just fine!

Last night I slept from 1:30 AM until 8:00 AM WITHOUT pain pills... this is huge. So now instead of feeling like I will never feel good again, I feel like this too will pass and my life will go on. I am grateful for the crummy, horrible, sick days because it really makes me appreciate well days and makes me want to use them wisely and not waste my time and energy on things that are totally and completely unproductive.

With my preparations for Christmas, comes this sweet little doll...
I've posted the link to the Black Apple Doll tutorial before, but I want to post it again because I think that they are so cute! Just imagine this little doll peeking out from a little girls stocking on Christmas morning. It makes my heart pitter patter a little bit. Yes, her head is a bit lopsided and her arms are not even... but that's okay. I felt like Santa's little elf making this doll. Isn't that what they do at the North Pole? Sew dolls and stuff like that?
This one is going to a little blue eyed, blonde haired beauty who loves pink and purple. I hope that she likes it. {SSSSHHHHHH Amy, don't tell!}

the doll turned out WAY cuter than I had imagined! I downloaded the tutorial, but hadn't made any. Now that I see how cute they are - I'm going to have to get sewing :)

SO, very cute! Are you taking orders? :) My heart is pitter-pattering a little too.

Glad you're feeling a little better.
