There are lots and lots of beautiful rugs out there... I found some gems for sure. But in the end I just couldn't justify spending $500 - $1000 on a rug... sorry. Maybe someday when I'm rich, but not today. Which actually turned out just great because we ended up agreeing on just a simple, cream shaggy rug... and we LOVE IT! It's so nice to have some carpet in here, we have all redwood laminate floors. It makes me like the floors a million times better!!! Tru's been rolling around on it all day, so I guess he likes it too. It really brightens up the room and I like that it doesn't limit my decorating schemes... it will go with just about anything!
Anyway, that's all for now... the livingroom is close to being done so I'll show some new pictures of it soon.

glad you found one. i hate that rugs are so expensive, i want a few to spice up our place, but i feel the same way as you...justifying that much money just can't happen!
