Nie Nie Dialoges...

Many of you have probably heard about the Nielsen family. Christian and Stephanie Nielsen were in a private plane crash in Arizona on August 16th and are currently in critical condition being treated for burns (Christian on 30% of his body and Stephanie 80%.) The flight instructor, Doug Kinnear passed away at the Maricopa County Hospital.

I wandered over to Nie's blog and started reading.... and didn't stop!!! I have read through her entire blog in the past week and I am left feeling heart broken for the trials they are currently facing, yet so inspired and motivated by the life of this young family and their devotion to each other and our Savior Jesus Christ. I feel that getting to know her through her blog has made this more real to me. I can't help but pray for their recovery... I am a big believer in prayer.

Here are a few of my favorite posts of hers. She is a woman that to me truly embodies what a daughter of God is. She has devoted her whole life to being a wonderful mother to her four children, and a devoted and passionate love to her husband. What a love story those two have! The love that she has for her family just oozes out of the pictures and words that she writes. I hope that I can be half the woman that she is, she has inspired me more that I can even express.

Proclamation to the family - day 1, day 2, day 3, day 4, day 5

There are many blogs that will be having silent auctions to raise money for the Nielson family. Some of those that I am aware of are Design Mom, A Daily Scoop, and A Room Somewhere. If you are able to, I encourage you to take a look and help this family. If you aren't able to.... pray for them. They have a long road ahead in recovery.
Thank you Nie for being such an example to me...

I've been reading her blog lately also, and its kind of hard to read it now- knowing what happened to her. It is one of the saddest stories I've ever heard.
