Master Bedroom as of 10:00 PM Tuesday night...
Somehow we managed to sleep in that bed that night too. Thank you all who helped give me some ideas as to how to decorate our bedroom. In the end, it was a compromise (isn't everything though??) We decided to go with a deep purple wall behind the bed and tan-ish on the other walls. It looks really good with the bedding! I'm pretty happy with it! I need to do a few more things before I'm ready to show it though... so hang tight.
Then there is the living room/dining room/kitchen. I wanted to do something fairly neutral but I did not want to do beige. There is nothing wrong with beige, I just didn't want to do it. I wanted to do something a little less common than beige. So we picked these two colors out, a little more gray (ya, it looks beige in the picture but trust me, it's not)... 
.....and the wall with the fireplace is suppose to be the darker wall. But the contrast isn't very good. So now we are trying to decide if we should make the darker wall darker or the lighter wall lighter for better contrast... Then Trent decided that maybe we just needed better lighting in here....
Another trip to the Home Depot and we now are also working on... recess lighting!!!! The projects just never end! One starts long before the last is finished. This is as far as Trent got this morning before he had to go to work. Notice that our T.V. is still sitting in front of the closet where we set it on Friday... no Olympic watching here!!! So there are some sad pictures of my mess, projects, and painting dilemma. Not sure what we'll end up doing, but I'm sure it will all work out in the end.
To add to the craziness....
Is there no end in sight to the hot hot hot temperatures!!! 110, could we at least start cooling off to like 100 or something? Isn't Fall right around the corner?? I hope so!
Anyway, I've been blogging too long, time to get back to the painting... I promise when things start getting pulled together I'll post some pictures. I think you will all get sick of me talking about these house projects though and probably wont be around to see the pictures the rate I'm going...

I feel for you. There is so much work to do when you first move into a new place. I am so impressed with your painting themes. I'm too scared to paint, although I really want to. I like your ideas so far.
About the heat... yikes. I'm sorry.
Looks like your condo is going to be so cute when you get everything finished and together. Good luck on all of the projects...I wish I lived closer so I could give you a hand. The heat must be killing you...just remember how nice the winters are in Vegas though...you don't have to freeze your butt off like us Uthans.
Are you kidding me! I even love seeing these pictures as they are a wreck in the making! It's so much fun! And it gives me hope of the remodeling projects in my home I should be starting on!:)
I won't get sick of your house projects. I think you guys are doing a great job. It makes me long for the day when I can paint walls and make our home unique. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see how it all turns out. You are a great interior designer!
