These are the skirts that the older sisters will be wearing. So there are four of these that I made. It was a really easy pattern to make, I really liked it. If you are thinking of sewing and want to start on an easy pattern this would be a good one. It has an elastic waist, but it doesn't look bad. So there aren't any zippers to deal with. You can find the pattern here.
Then there were 3 lime green ties I made for the "grandsons". Tru will be sporting one of these on the big day. I'll post pictures of what these look like on, because I'm sure that they are much cuter actually on someone.
Just for a side note, since I am taking it down today. Here is the "sewing station" that I have been working on for the past 9 months...

Your so talented Meg!
Meg,
I found your blog through Natalie Norton and stuck it in my Google Reader. I thought that since you seem to be passionate about your child and your sewing, I would share something that involves both. My wife likes to sew as well and just created a crib bumper from a pattern she found because she couldn't find a bumper that didn't chip the crib paint. I thought you might like to see it because Tru's chompers are coming in. You can find a picture of it on my blog:

Paris - I love all the getups! And luck me will get to see them in person because I TOTALLY will be at the reception!!! I am glad Hannah and Tru will get to meet!
And thanks for the birthday wish!!!
Hi Meg! Great job on the sewing! I'm very impressed! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH for the link to the cute mobile! I'm absolutely in LOVE with it!!!!!!!!!!!!
That skirt is so cute! I can't wait to see pictures from the wedding! I'm glad you'll soon be able to get a better sewing station. You deserve it!
AHHH, what we all need - a good sewing station. I continue to take up about 75% of our kitchen table. Navi J (at 2 years old) has learned to eat standing up because my sewing stuff is always in the way! Good thing the men in our lives know how to adjust. My dream is to have a GINORMOUS sewing room :)
I love the skirt...I think I'll make one :)
p.s. I made the bird from the mobile...pretty simple...and super cute.
Wow! You are amazing! I have not ventured out from wall hangings and pillows, but I think that you have just inspired me!
