My machine showed up yesterday. Sounds MUCH better than the first one that came. It no longer sounds like a train is coming through the front door. It’s wonderful, works well, sounds good, I see myself being very occupied for a long time with projects on this thing. First, I’m finishing up Tru’s new bumper pad today.
What was wrong with his old bedding…. well, I was worried about him suffocating! The bumper wasn’t the type that lie flat against the bars, but more like a roll of padding that lays on the mattress. Tru is rolling around so much in bed and the other pads didn’t leave him any room to roll, so I was worried about him getting smothered in it. So I took it out…. and now he is getting his arms and legs stuck out the bars! I realize that I can only use these for a few months at the most until he’s pulling himself up, but I figure when baby #2 comes along, I can use them then. A sneak preview is in the picture above, but I’ll show you more when I get them done.
