Bedding Dilema...

So I have this dilemma, I want to have a cool bedroom. A bedroom that when I walk in and lay down at the end of the day I feel so comfortable, and so peaceful, and something that Trent is comfortable in as well. So that rules out pink, purple, too many flowers, and leopard (or does it???) So I’ve been racking my brain for months and months trying to figure out what to do, and here are the things that are catching me the most.

I love love LOVE this pleated bedding from West Elm. Isn’t it romantic?? However, I don’t think that it is very baby proof, considering this baby spits up on everything, and he is in my room a lot of the time. Also, when I look at bedding I think about how I can make it myself, I would much rather make something than buy it, it’s just more fun that way. Maybe I could make this in green or blue, or something other than white.

This etched leaf beddingis my favorite, and I love the headboard too (also from West Elm). However, totally not make-able. I have skills but not those kinds of skills. I think that Trent would really like it too though…

I saw this bedding last night at Kohl’s and fell in love with it! I love the bright colors and the detail in the white shams and sheets. However, Trent said that it looked like pee….. no comment there, other than Trent is technically color blind (but he does have to like it too…)
